Privacy Policy
OnionEx is built as a privacy-preserving onion search engine that operates without user profiling, tracking systems, or identity collection. Our architecture is designed to function anonymously by default.
Core Privacy Principle
The platform is intentionally engineered so that user identity is never required. We do not rely on accounts, identifiers, or persistent user states.
In simple terms: OnionEx processes searches without knowing who is using the system.
Information We Do Not Collect
OnionEx does not gather or store any of the following data types:
- Search queries or search history
- IP addresses or network fingerprints
- User accounts, emails, or identifiers
- Device or browser fingerprint data
- Location information
- Behavioral tracking signals
There is no persistent storage of user activity tied to individuals.
Zero Logging Environment
All search requests are handled in-memory and discarded immediately after execution.
- No request logs are created
- No query archives are maintained
- No session tracking exists
- No historical reconstruction is possible
No Tracking Systems
OnionEx does not implement any analytics or monitoring tools that observe user behavior.
- No analytics platforms
- No advertising trackers
- No cookies for tracking
- No behavioral profiling algorithms
Local Browser Storage
Some minimal features may use your browser’s local storage only for interface preferences.
- Theme selection (dark / light mode)
- UI display preferences
This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted anywhere.
External Onion Resources
Search results may include third-party onion services and external resources.
OnionEx does not host, verify, or control external services and cannot guarantee their safety, content accuracy, or privacy policies.
Security Model
The security approach is based on data minimization: if no data is stored, it cannot be leaked, stolen, or exposed.
- No stored data means no breach history
- No logs means no surveillance surface
- No tracking means no user profiling
Policy Updates
This Privacy Policy may evolve as OnionEx improves its infrastructure or features.
However, the fundamental privacy model will always remain unchanged: no tracking, no logging, and no user identification.
Summary
OnionEx does not identify users, store searches, or track activity in any form.
The system is built to ensure anonymity is not an option — but the default state.
